Safe and reliable
All client monies are segregated and deposited in quality banks.
Depending on which account type and which country you choose, one of these banks serves as depository bank. Our partner banks are members of their local asset protection schemes. The peace of mind and the safety of your funds provided by WH SelfInvest is above the industry average.
Account balances do not receive an interest. If account balances are charged an interest or other costs, the cost may be passed on to the client.
Funding the account can be done by money transfer to a 'client assets' account held at one of the depository banks indicated above. Due to regulatory requirements WH SelfInvest will only accept transfers coming from a bank account in the name of the account holder, and in the case of stocks, from the reference account provided as part of the account opening process. Transfers from third parties, including family members, cannot be accepted. The money will automatically be posted to your account.
Managed account – Market effects. The rate is € 5 for an incoming transfer. Account security is important. For your security we only accept a transfer out instruction signed by the account holder(s). Transfer out rates are € 5 for amounts < € 30.000 and 0,10% (with a maximum of € 50) for amounts > € 30.000. Use the transfer form and fax or e-mail it to us.
Managed account – Stocks. An incoming transfer is free of charge. A transfer out instruction is provided electronically. The rate is $ 50 for an outgoing transfer. If a conversion into another currency is required the rate is the bank charges + 0,3%.
What is a managed account?
A managed account is an account on which you, the account holder, gives a management mandate to a third party. We will manage your account according to precisely defined agreed rules. This is called discretionary management without discretion.
The fact that we implement these rules does not stop you from intervening. You can, for example, close a position, which you do not want. You can also cancel the management mandate whenever you want.
What is the account minimum?
Managed account – Market effects. For this managed account we strongly recommend a minimum of € 25.000. The account minimum is € 10.000. For a mail&click account the account minimum is € 5.000.
Managed account – Stocks. For this managed account the account minimum is $ 10.000.
I am very pleased and surprised by the consistency of the good results. – René
